Alphonso Mangoes
Alphonso Mango, commonly known as Hapus, is often touted to be the king of fruits. This majestic fruit is by far the most sought after variety of Indian Mangoes. Alphonso Mango is very fragrant, sweet and the flesh is fibreless. It is predominantly grown along the Konkan belt of Maharashtra. 12* fruits/box.
Kesar Mango
Kesar Mango is one of the sweetest varieties of Indian mangoes and it is often referred as the “Queen of Mangoes”. Kesar Mango is predominantly grown in Maharashtra and Gujrath states. This variety is known for its hardy nature which makes it ideal for long distance transport. 11-12* fruits/box
Banganapalli Mangoes
Bangnapalli is one of the most famous mango variety from south India. Banganpalli Mango is predominantly grown in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also often referred as “Pride of Andhra”. The mango is supposed to have originated in a village in Andhra Pradesh by the same name. 7-9* fruits/box
Rasalu Mangoes
Rasalu is one of the most popular mangoes from Andhra Pradesh region of India and it is famous a juice mango. Rasalu mango is extremely sweet and juicy when ripe. When it is ripe, it needs to be immediately consumed as it has a low shelf life. The mango itself is also very delicate and sensitive. When ripe, it is filled with juice- it is fibrous, but extremely soft and juicy.
Payari Mangoes
Payari mango is a popular variety of mangoes grown in the Kokan belt in the western coast of India. It is generally used in combination with Alphonso mango to make Aamras or Mango Juice. It is jucier than Alphonso. It has distinctive reddish tinge on the skin and excellent aroma. It is famous for its fibrous and juicy nature. 10-12 fruits/box
